Lizzy’s Story
She came to us following a litter of puppies in a puppy mill. She had been neglected and was underweight. Two months down the track she has filled out, found friends and has become a treasured member of the family. Always ready for attention and a treat or 2 or 3 or 4 she is also learning to fetch. She has been very easy to train. Following the death of our old lab 2 years ago aged 14 years, our cats have embraced her like it was a reincarnation! Rubbing up against her and making her feel welcome. She is very gentle, well behaved and learning to socialise with other dogs on walks. This is one of her and her friend waiting patiently while we have coffee. Thankyou to labrador and the foster carer for allowing her to become part of our family. She is much loved and hopefully can put any misery behind her.
