Olli’s Story
It’s Olivia here, the beautiful 2yr old lab 🙂
I’m writing this to you all the way from Perth!
My beautiful foster home was in Sydney, my carer Larry took such great care of me, I’ll never forget him! Larry had some phone calls with a girl in Perth and before I knew it my new adventure began!
My foster parents drove me to the airport where I boarded a big jet plane for Perth, I was a little nervous but mainly excited for where I was going. I was greeted at the airport by this lovely couple, they were so happy to see me, it’s like they had been expecting me all this time.
After a little car ride I arrived at a cute little house, this house had a big yard, a comfy bed and a very cosy lounge! The couple fed me, and cuddled me and we played ball, this was such a fun
house!
After a few short days i grew very fond of the couple, they made such a fuss over me and really made me feel special! I really liked it here!
One day the couple asked me if I’d like this to be my forever home? I was so excited and of course said yes! They bought me my very own collar and a pet tag that says ‘Olli’. I like the nickname Olli, I think it suits me and my tail wags like crazy when my humans say it!
I’ve made a good friend called Harry since being in Perth, you may know Harry, he lived in Sydney too with a Labrador rescue carer and he too flew all the way from Sydney to Perth. Harry lives around the corner and his family is my human’s family too!
Harry and I get so spoilt and I love going to his house for visits. We play so much and I like to steal his toys, he doesn’t seem to mind though and I always give them back!
I love my forever home, my human’s tell me all the time how special I am to them. I love playing ball and there’s no toy too strong that I can’t destroy! I’m enrolled in doggy school in a few weeks, I’m so excited to learn new things and show my humans how clever I am!
Just before I go I wanted to finish my letter by saying a very big Thankyou to Larry my foster carer and his wife, they took such good care of me and I’ll be forever grateful! I know my humans are very thankful that you chose them to keep me too!
Perth is so much fun and I am loving my new adventure!
