Winnie is a stunning 9-month-old black Labrador with a heart so full of love it practically squeaks. Once she decides you’re “her person,” she will follow you everywhere, melt into your arms for cuddles, and shower you with devotion like it’s her full-time job. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and thrives with structure. She’s the kind of girl who beams with pride when she gets it right and when you praise her, it’s like it’s the best day of her life.

BUT…Before you fall too far in love with her, Winnie is not for just any home she’s holding out for the right one.

What Winnie Needs (Her Wish List)

Winnie is looking for a calm, stable home without lots of people coming and going. Her world makes more sense when things are predictable and gentle.

She’ll need a home who understands that fear in dogs is real, that pushing her doesn’t help, and that giving her space is the quickest way to earn her trust. She blossoms when she’s respected.

Her dream home will also offer:

A lifelong commitment to training and understanding.

Access to water: pool, beach, paddle pool, hose… she’s not picky, but she is enthusiastic.

No small animals: Winnie believes tiny creatures are for chasing.

A crate-friendly home: she loves having her safe space.

Bonus: A confident dog friend could help her, but she’s also happy to be the only princess.

Most importantly, Winnie needs humans who listen to her boundaries and don’t take it personally that she doesn’t become besties on day one. But once she decides you’re safe… good luck getting personal space again.

Important Things You Need to Know (Non-Negotiables)

Winnie takes time to warm up. If you want a dog who is instantly social, she’s not your girl. Patience isn’t optional here… it’s essential.

She is still very much a puppy: enthusiastic, boisterous, occasionally pushy, and blissfully unaware of personal space. For safety reasons, she is not suited to homes with small children or elderly residents.

Winnie has so much love to give, but she needs a home who will meet her where she’s at; they need to be gentle, patient, and understanding. If you’re willing to put in the time, respect her boundaries, and laugh along the way, Winnie will reward you with a bond that’s honest, deep, and beautiful.

Winnie is located in Brisbane and is available for adoption. She’s been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is up to date with all worming and flea & tick treatments. This gorgeous girl is available to the right home for a rehoming fee of $1300.00
