Yesterday Bob had an operation to repair the cruciate ligaments that were torn in both his knees. Here is the latest on how he is going.
We are very happy to say that everything went very well. He spent the night at the vets recovering and he is on injected and oral pain relief, but responding perfectly. He has an immobiliser strap on so he can't bend and move his back legs fully.
He is now settled in comfortably at home and ready to start recovery which will be 6 weeks with only walks outside for bathroom breaks. Plus lots of Lab cuddles and smooches.
