_{In her younger years, Mindy was a breeding girl.
Now retired from motherhood, Mindy is enjoying a more relaxed chapter of her life.}

<sub>Mindy is an exceptionally loving and affectionate, mature girl. Looking at her, you would never guess her age! She is still active, loves to play, enjoys her walks, and has been accustomed to going for two reasonably long walks each day.

Mindy has previously lived with young children and would therefore suit a home with dog savvy children, who understand the need to give an older dog some space, or no children at all.</sub>

_{Mindy is a strong girl on the lead, which certainly belies her age! Her new family will need to be mindful of this and be comfortable managing her strength when out walking.}

_{Mindy & Other Animals}

_{Mindy is used to living with other dogs and would be very happy in a home with canine companions. She can be a little timid when first meeting new dogs, so introductions will need to be calm and controlled to ensure she doesn’t feel overwhelmed.}

_{And when it comes to cats, Mindy absolutely adores them! She is very affectionate towards cats and will happily give them kisses for as long as they are willing to accept them. ❤️}

_{Mindy’s Confidence on Lead}        

_{Mindy can sometimes become anxious when she is on lead and another dog enters her personal space unexpectedly. When she feels uncomfortable, this can result in rushing towards the other dog and barking.}

_{Her foster carer is working with her to help her feel more comfortable and confident in these situations. Mindy’s new family will need to continue this work and, importantly, avoid putting her into situations where she feels overwhelmed or unable to cope.}

_{Mindy is a beautiful, loving girl who deserves to spend her retirement years surrounded by people who will appreciate her wonderful nature, give her plenty of love and allow her to enjoy life at her own pace.}
